Dean Young's The Art of Recklessness has been the perfect antidote to all the stodgy prosody books I've been drudging through lately, as I readreadreadreadreadread for comps. It's one big poem-of-a-manifesto, all between the lines -- ecstatic, with just enough capital letters, exclamation points, and knock knock jokes to get your heart racing.

I've read all the book in Graywolf's The Art of... series, and they are all marvelous -- very smart, very unpretentious.
